In line with our parent company, government guidelines and the advice from the FLTA, HUBTEX UK are constantly monitoring the COVID-19 developments, which presents us all with unprecedented challenges. We also see it as our duty beyond the company, to act responsibly. We have taken various measures to protect the health of our customers, employees and business partners and to safeguard our business activities.
Will There Be Restrictions on Production?
Our goal is to minimise the impact of the current measures on our production. We are currently still well supplied with production parts. Nevertheless, the stricter measures at the external borders may cause delays in the supply of our plant. This may also affect the delivery of our products in isolated cases. We are in constant communication with our suppliers and customers in this regard.
Our production facility in Fulda will continue to operate and produce. We are doing our best to maintain production while taking maximum precautions to protect our employees.
What About Upcoming Customer and Business Appointments?
A good and above all long-term customer relationship is always based on a stable foundation of trust. Even in the current situation, we continue to do everything in our power to act responsibly and be aware of any risks. The daily interaction with our customers is our top priority. Whenever you need us, we will be there!
We will increasingly use digital channels for communication purposes. Coordination between employees, customers, and partners can thus continue in the best possible way.
Of course we follow the guidelines of the local governments, which currently forbid meetings with more than 2 persons. Accordingly, visits to customers and vehicle approvals at the factory must unfortunately be cancelled until further notice.
Will HUBTEX Remain Fully Available to Its Customers and Suppliers?
HUBTEX will continue to be available to its customers and suppliers taking maximum precautions, primarily by means of digital solutions.
Will Services Continue to be Offered?
Our service technicians on-site are at your disposal even in these challenging times. Our service technicians are prepared for the current challenges posed by Corona. They will comply with disinfection and clearance rules to the maximum extent possible. In addition, our technicians inform themselves in advance about any safety measures at our customers’ premises and adapt to them as a matter of course. Well-equipped, our technicians are able to deal with your problem on their first visit most of the time.
The supply of spare parts is largely stable. Of course, we are always in contact with our suppliers for you.
What Measures are Taken to Protect Employees from COVID-19?
HUBTEX has taken a number of measures to provide the best possible protection for our employees and business partners to maintain business operations. We protect the health of our employees and our business partners by communicating hygiene measures and rules for dealing with colleagues as well as providing information on optimal climatic conditions.
Despite the fact that our employees largely avoid meetings in the business environment, we offer extensive communication thanks to our digital possibilities, through which our employees inform themselves proactively thus continuing to provide service for our customers. At the same time, we use a shift system in all areas of the plant and have created additional break rooms for our employees in order to comply with the distance rules at the workplace. The possibility of working in the home office has been extended.
